To be a strong chapter, you have to have an even stronger sisterhood behind it! Amy couldn't help but brag about the incredible group of women that make up Zeta Tau Alpha at Georgia Southern University. These girls have the BEST time together at the sorority house, on campus, and everywhere in between. Everywhere they go, Theta Xi makes sure to spread that Zeta love <3
To strengthen those sister bonds, ZTA at GSU throws sisterhoods all year round. Some chapter favs - charcuterie board making, Puppies and Pizza, and a PJ themed sisterhood! These small get togethers let the chapter spend time together, make memories, and have a good time! That's what being in a sorority is all about :) They also throw Bachelorette watch parties at the house, letting everyone come and hang out. Super chill vibes, lounging with pillows and blankets - there's really nothing better!
Amy talked about some of her favorite memories with her sisterhood, and one event stood out from the rest. The night of Bid Day, all the new members were invited to the Zeta house for a retreat. They spent the night playing music, dancing, and hanging out! It's nothing crazy, but served as the perfect way to be welcomed to the sorority. Amy immediately felt comfortable and excited to meet her new sisters.
We'd be excited too, especially after learning about how IMPRESSIVE this chapter is. When they're not hanging out at their house, they're making a huge impact on campus. These girls are always participating in events with other organizations, bringing in awards left and right. Speaking of awards ... we'd be crazy not to mention the FULL SWEEP Theta Xi had at last year's Greek Life awards. They were chosen as the GSU Chapter of the Year, which that in itself needs a round of applause 👏 👏👏 They also received awards for their Philanthropy, Diversity & Inclusion, Chapter Excellence, among sooo many others. Their hard work really paid off!!!
Basically, the Zistas know how to have a good with each other while still making a positive impact to those around them, staying true to their sorority's daily mission.
