Working off the theme of "Strike," Alpha Omicron Pi at the University of Louisiana Monroe hosted a kickball tournament for their annual Spring event. Using their school's intramural fields, they were able to host multiple games for men's, women's, and co-edtournament brackets. This event wasn't just for Greek organizations, though. Anyone from ULM was allowed to participate, whether they were in a sorority/fraternity or not! Different clubs, organizations, and sports teams came out to support the cause. AOII themselves got to make a co-ed team with the school's tennis team, joining in on all the fun! Other sisters worked the event, letting everyone participate!
In the end, Kappa Sigma, Kappa Delta, and ULM BCM were the champs in each bracket. For each winning team, AOII had shirts made for the winners to show off their victory. As Laken described, people get plaques or trophies for things like this all the time. It's wayyy more fun to be able to rep your win around campus, and who doesn't love a free t-shirt??
